We only know the names of a few angels, whom the Lord chose for His most important tasks. One of these is Gabriel, who appeared to Zacharias, father of John the Baptist and Mary, mother of Jesus. It seems reasonable that Gabriel would be asked to address student angels, providing them with motivation and his wisdom. I wondered about what Gabriel would teach - and this story came to be.
